About this opportunity
The Deadly Education Costs Scholarship aims to improve higher education access for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This scholarship is open exclusively to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in enabling courses (FAST program), undergraduate, Honours or postgraduate courses at Federation University. To be eligible, applicants must provide a Confirmation of Aboriginality or statutory declaration, and demonstrate evidence of low socio-economic status or financial hardship through documentation such as Centrelink statements or payslips. The scholarship provides approximately $2000 in total to help cover education costs and support students throughout the duration of their program. This opportunity is part of the Aurora Foundation's broader commitment to supporting Indigenous students through each stage of their educational development.
