About This Opportunity

This programme is for small and local charities and CICs with an income between £25,000 to £500,000 that are led by and working with Deaf and Disabled people who are experiencing poverty. The programme is aimed at registered charities and Community Interest Companies which are led by and working for Deaf and Disabled people. Organizations work directly with Deaf and Disabled people over the long term to support them to have more choice and control over their lives, access their rights and entitlements and challenge the barriers they face. The work must be based on a social model of disability and organizations must demonstrate how this understanding shapes their work and enables people to have their voices heard. Successful applicants receive a three-year unrestricted grant, meaning they can use the grant to support any costs that further their organization's social purpose. Please note that this funding programme is now closed.
