Dean Alfonzo Thurman & U.S. Bank Education Scholarship

The Dean Alfonzo Thurman & U.S. Bank Education Scholarship is awarded to select School of Education undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The scholarship supports students pursuing education degrees who demonstrate financial need as determined by FAFSA and maintain strong academic performance with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Strong preference is given to students who graduated from a high school within the City of Milwaukee. This scholarship is part of the UWM Foundation Scholarships program and specifically aims to support students from Milwaukee Public Schools backgrounds entering the teaching profession.
