Dean of Engineering Master's Excellence Award

The Dean of Engineering Master's Excellence Award, valued at up to $10,000, is available to domestic students who will be registered full time in a master's (MASc) program in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Recipients are selected automatically based on their application for admission to the program, taking into consideration the evaluation criteria of the award. The Faculty of Engineering selects recipients in collaboration with departments as offers of admission are made throughout the year. The award is paid in equal installments across the standard duration of the program, providing recipients continue to meet the eligibility criteria. This entrance award recognizes outstanding domestic students entering master's programs in various engineering disciplines including Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Management Sciences, Mechanical & Mechatronics Engineering, and Systems Design Engineering.
