Dean Scholarship

The Dean Scholarship is a prestigious academic scholarship awarded by the Deans of each academic School at the University of East London. Selected by the Dean of each academic School, these scholarships are aimed at undergraduate students who demonstrate both academic excellence and a commitment to the University values. The scholarship offers a cash award or tuition fee waiver of up to £13,500 over three years, with recipients able to choose their preferred format. Students who are awarded a scholarship must commit to support the University with future promotion of UEL through ambassadorial works, including a minimum of 4 events such as open days and open evenings. In addition to strong academic performance, Deans look for evidence of commitment, resilience, leadership, and how applicants have engaged with their community or extracurricular activities. Future payments under this scheme require students to continue to progress and achieve an overall pass mark of 2:1 or above.
