About this opportunity
The Dean's PhD Scholarship is offered by Imperial College London's Faculty of Natural Sciences to support the most outstanding doctoral students. The scholarship provides a contribution of £75,000 towards tuition fees over a duration of 3.5 years, with additional maintenance support for Home fee status students. Four scholarships are available each academic year to prospective PhD students in the Departments of Chemistry, Life Sciences, Mathematics, and Physics. The awards are open to both Home and Overseas fee status students who demonstrate exceptional academic merit and potential. Students cannot apply directly; they must be nominated by their department after submitting a standard PhD application through Imperial College's online application process. Departments assess nominated candidates based on their admission application forms, academic records, and references, selecting the highest-ranked students for these prestigious awards. This scholarship opportunity is exclusively for new students beginning their PhD studies and is not available to continuing students already registered at the College.
