Deans Scholarships

The Deans Scholarship at Bangor University is a merit-based award aimed at international students demonstrating academic excellence in their current or previous studies. The scholarship is offered to students who have secured an A Grade/First-class average or equivalent in their qualifying exams. It is available for all undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses at Bangor University. The scholarship provides financial support to reduce tuition costs for the first year of study. The award is made at the University's discretion based on various criteria including course choice, academic performance, personal statement, academic references, skills and experience, and domicile. No separate scholarship application is required as all international applicants are automatically considered when they submit their application to study at Bangor University.
