About This Opportunity

The Dean's Undergraduate Scholarship in Business was established in 2006 to support exceptional, well-rounded students with a demonstrated interest in business. This scholarship provides financial support of $15,000 per year for high-achieving high school leavers commencing undergraduate studies at the University of Sydney Business School. The scholarship is tenable for up to four years, including an additional year for completion of the Bachelor of Advanced Studies or combined degrees with Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science. Recipients are selected based on academic merit, demonstrated leadership skills, community involvement, extra-curricular participation, public speaking abilities, and an interview. The scholarship is paid in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester. To maintain the scholarship, recipients must maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 75 and enrol in at least 24 credit points each semester. The scholarship is available to Australian citizens and permanent residents who have achieved a minimum ATAR of 99.5 or equivalent. Students commencing with credit from previous studies are eligible if their approved credit does not exceed 48 credit points. For students undertaking a combined law degree, the scholarship is only valid for the duration of the business award course and honours year.
