Debbie Flood Memorial Master of Nursing Award

The Debbie Flood Memorial Master of Nursing Award is granted to a student with life experience who is enrolled in their first year of study, full or part time, at UPEI in the Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner Stream who intends to focus on a career in mental health Nursing and who completed their last year of formal education a minimum of five years prior to awarding. This award was established in June 2024 by the family and friends of Debbie Flood to honour her life and legacy in Prince Edward Island Nursing. Debbie Flood graduated from the PEI School of Nursing in May 1989 and had a long career working in the area of mental health and addictions. She was loved by many and respected as a wonderful advocate of those who benefit from mental health care.
