Decision Partners Financial Basics Scholarship Contest

The Decision Partners Financial Basics Scholarship is a $500 scholarship awarded randomly to two students a year who complete the Financial Basics course on CFNC.org and meet the eligibility requirements. The scholarship contest runs annually from May 1 to April 30 of the following year. To enter, high school or first-year college students must create an account at CFNC.org and complete the Financial Basics online course with a grade of 80% or higher. Winners are selected randomly from eligible entries and notified via email, phone, or regular mail. The scholarship is paid directly to the accredited North Carolina institution of higher learning, or if the winner is still in high school, it is deposited into a Scholarship Account in North Carolina's National College Savings Program to be used when the student enrolls in an accredited N.C. college or university. This opportunity is specifically designed to encourage financial literacy among North Carolina students preparing for or beginning their college education.
