About This Opportunity
The Deer Managers Training Grant helps tackle herbivore pressure in the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park by encouraging sustainable deer management. The aim of this grant is to help provide a skilled workforce to facilitate sustainable deer management in the National Park by encouraging skill development of current deer managers and enabling necessary training for people who'd like to get involved in deer management. The grant offers financial assistance to applicants for training courses related to deer management, including various deer stalking certificates, meat hygiene qualifications, deer management certificates, night shooting certificates, thermal and night vision training, venison butchery courses, and ATV Quad Bike courses.
