About this opportunity
The Denise Gerard Scholarship was established in 1997 as the result of a bequest to the University of Auckland from the late Miss B Denise Gerard. Miss Gerard's stated purpose in establishing the Scholarship was to assist students at the Elam School of Fine Arts who show industry, promise of artistic ability, and who are in need of financial assistance. The scholarship provides financial support to domestic BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) and BFA conjoint degree students enrolled in Parts II or III of their program. Up to five scholarships are offered annually, with each scholarship valued at up to $6,000 to provide assistance with study. The scholarship has a tenure of one year and recognizes students who demonstrate both artistic promise and financial need.
