Dennis & Jean Bacon Memorial Bursary

Established in 2025/26 by Donna and Beat Schmid, the Dennis & Jean Bacon Memorial Bursary is available to students enrolled full-time in the 1st or 2nd year of any program at Lakeland College. The bursary is awarded to students who demonstrate financial need and maintain satisfactory academic standing. Applicants must be Alberta or Saskatchewan residents and come from a farming background. Recipients should demonstrate kindness, enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and a kind heart. This memorial bursary honors the legacy of Dennis and Jean Bacon by supporting students pursuing their educational goals at Lakeland College.
