Dennis Turner Hardship Fund

The Dennis Turner Hardship Fund (DTHF) is designed to be a supportive safety net for students at the University of Wolverhampton who encounter acute financial difficulty arising from a sudden and unpredicted change in their circumstances. This fund is specifically reserved for exceptional hardship that is above and beyond the general financial challenges of student life. The fund provides non-repayable financial assistance to help students continue their studies when faced with unforeseen financial events such as sudden essential domestic costs, substantial changes in household income, unexpected health-related costs, or critical unplanned travel due to family emergencies. The fund is available confidentially to both home and international students and does not affect visa status. Applications are typically accepted from late October through April each year, with provisions for exceptional circumstances outside this window.
