Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry Scholarship or Award

This award is open to graduate students enrolled in a doctoral program in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry who have a research focus on analytical chemistry. Eligible students must be working in compound identification and quantification using chromatography methods in conjunction with mass spectrometry. The program especially encourages students to apply who have conducted collaborative work with companies focused on analytical chemistry. Additional criteria include good academic standing, being in years 2 to 5 of graduate studies, and engagement in drug discovery research with a focus on bio-analytical drug characterization and advancement of mass spectrometry methodologies.
