Department of English Graduate Scholarship

The Department of English Graduate Scholarship was established in April 2024 to support incoming English graduate students with entrance scholarships to encourage promising applicants to enroll in one of the Department of English MA programs at the University of Regina. The scholarship is designed to attract quality applicants who wish to become enrolled full time in the English Department MA program. Recipients must demonstrate potential to thrive in the program and contribute to the experience of their cohort. Four awards of $1,500 each are presented annually, with preference given to providing two awards to the Creative Writing Stream and two awards to the English Academic stream. If there are not enough eligible recipients in one stream, applicants may be chosen from either stream to ensure a total of four awards per year are distributed.
