Department of Geosciences Award

The Department of Geosciences at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee provides various awards to high-achieving students engaged in research, benefiting from generous donations from alumni. These awards recognize Geosciences majors and minors who conduct research above and beyond the expectations of their curriculum study and demonstrate overall academic merit. Graduate students with top research projects who are in the final year of their degree programs are also eligible for these awards. Applications are typically accepted throughout the fall and interim semesters, with awards paid the following academic year. There is a single common application for geosciences students to complete in order to be considered for all geosciences scholarships and awards.
