Department of Spanish & Portuguese Graduate Student Teaching Excellence Award

This award recognizes outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistants in the Department of Spanish & Portuguese at UW-Milwaukee who demonstrate excellence in teaching and departmental citizenship. When funding is available, the award is granted to one or more GTAs who have completed at least one semester of teaching and maintain strong academic performance, effective teaching as evidenced by student evaluations and classroom observations, and positive contributions to the department through collaboration and timely completion of responsibilities. Recipients are selected by a faculty committee in the Department of Spanish & Portuguese, and no student application is required. The award amount varies depending on available funding.
