Dependent Students' Grant

The Dependent Students' Grant provides financial assistance to students who have an adult dependant. This income-assessed grant can be claimed for a spouse, civil partner, partner, or other adult dependant that the student acts as a carer for. The grant is not available for dependant children or for another student. If the dependant has any income, this may affect the student's entitlement to the grant. The maximum value is £2,640 per year. This grant is administered by the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS) and is available to undergraduate students studying full-time on campus at Robert Gordon University who are Scottish residents. Nursing and Midwifery students are not eligible to apply for this fund.
