Design Bring Your Own Device Award

The Design Bring Your Own Device Award was established in 2019 and is funded by the Faculty of Engineering and Design at the University of Auckland. The main purpose of the Award is to assist Bachelor of Design and Master of Design students with the cost of purchasing a fit for purpose device, which is a requirement of these programmes. Up to 20 awards of up to $2,500 each are offered annually to help international and domestic students enrolling in a Bachelor of Design or Master of Design program purchase course-related technology and devices. The award provides essential financial support for students to acquire the necessary equipment to successfully complete their design studies. This one-year award helps reduce the financial barrier for students entering design programs by covering a significant portion of the technology costs required for their coursework.
