DESIGN FOR ALL Support Programme

DESIGN FOR ALL has been set up to provide small charities and community organisations with professional expertise to get their building projects off the ground. The support programme provides expert advice for building related projects which are in early development, which is often the hardest part of the project to find funding for. The programme offers professional expertise from a range of disciplines including brief development, site studies, space and layout analysis, planning advice, cost advice, structural analysis, sketch designs, and environmental analysis. A share of £30,000 worth of time (based on £100/hr) is split across 2 to 4 recipients annually. The support programme does not provide capital or cash, but rather professional services and reasonable travel expenses. Applicants must commit 7.5% of the awarded support programme value as payment and demonstrate a clear plan for future funding of their capital costs.
