Developing Your Creative Practice (DYCP) is a fund offered by Arts Council England that supports individual creative and cultural practitioners to focus on their development and take them to the next stage of their practice. The fund is designed specifically for individuals working in Arts Council England's supported disciplines who want to invest in their own professional growth. Activities can include building new networks, experimenting with new collaborators or partners, international travel to explore practice, professional development activities such as training and working with mentors, and research and development time to explore practice and take risks. The fund aims to support a clear step change in individual practice rather than short-term project-based activity or community engagement projects. Applications are assessed competitively, and the program operates on a rolling basis with multiple rounds throughout the year.
