About this opportunity
The Diane Hoppe Water Memorial Scholarship provides scholarships to Colorado high school students planning to attend a public institution of higher education in Colorado who are interested in western water issues. Applications are reviewed based on commitment to the field, vision for the future, references, and scholastic potential. Preference is given to students interested in pursuing a career in water or water-related fields such as agriculture, and students demonstrating leadership in western water issues or water-related issues. This is a one-time award that can be used toward tuition, fees, books, room and board, and any additional cost of attendance expenses. The scholarship must be used for the upcoming academic year, and all funds will be paid directly to the recipient's post-secondary institution.
