About this opportunity
The DICE MSc Burnett Scholarships are fully funded studentships offered through the generosity of the Notsew Orm Sands Foundation at the University of Kent's Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE). Six scholarships are offered annually for students from Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, or Zimbabwe to pursue taught masters courses in either Conservation Science or Conservation Science and International Wildlife Trade. The scholarships provide comprehensive support including tuition fees at the overseas rate, a UKRI stipend, and travel expenses to and from the UK. Applicants must be nationals or have official refugee status in one of the eligible countries, possess at least two years of work experience in the conservation sector, and hold a good undergraduate degree. These scholarships aim to support conservation professionals from southern Africa to advance their expertise and contribute to conservation efforts in their home regions.
