About this opportunity
The ANU-CSIRO Digital Agriculture PhD Supplementary Scholarships provide funding to support outstanding candidates to pursue a PhD program at ANU, where the focus of their research is on a collaborative project between CSIRO and ANU in the field of information science relevant to agriculture. This supplementary scholarship is designed for students who are already recipients of an AGRTP or equivalent HDR base stipend, providing additional financial support for their doctoral research. Funding for this award has been provided by CSIRO's Data61 – Australia's leading data innovation group. Their mission is to create Australia's data driven future by building the world's leading data-focused research and innovation powerhouse. The scholarship supports collaborative research projects between CSIRO and ANU focused on information science applications in the agriculture domain. Recipients must undertake research under a CSIRO/ANU Collaboration Agreement and sign a Student Agreement with CSIRO. The award provides $15,000 per annum paid fortnightly for a duration of 3.5 years, with the possibility of a 6-month extension.
