About This Opportunity

The Digital Research Infrastructure grant provides funding for the procurement or establishment of digital infrastructure for addressing key scientific questions in humanities and social sciences that could not be addressed otherwise. The grant supports the procurement of register data, access to databases, and the establishment of databases and text corpora. While interdisciplinary research is encouraged, there must be a strong humanities or social sciences aspect. The minimum amount that can be applied for is DKK 300,000 with no maximum amount, though the Foundation will only rarely support applications exceeding approximately DKK 5 million. In cases involving the establishment of databases, it is possible to apply for salary for a research assistant for up to 12 months. The research assistant must hold a Master's or PhD degree and may only be employed to construct new infrastructure, not to maintain or operate existing systems.
