About this opportunity
The University of Strathclyde Digital Inclusion Programme is a technology loan scheme for students who reside in the UK and do not have access to an appropriate PC or laptop to support their learning. The programme provides laptops to eligible undergraduate and postgraduate students who meet specific residence and eligibility criteria. Laptops are managed by the University, who retain admin rights and come with software pre-installed. Students from disadvantaged backgrounds, care-experienced students, those with caring responsibilities, estranged students, and students from specific underrepresented communities may qualify. Students must meet UK residence requirements and provide evidence of their student finance award. In exceptional cases, students without reliable WiFi or broadband access may also be eligible for a £200 grant to support purchasing data or Wi-Fi connectivity.
