About this opportunity
The Dimitroff/Walker Scholarship is awarded to select School of Information Studies (SOIS) graduate students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This scholarship supports students enrolled part-time or full-time in the Master's in Library and Information Science (MLIS): Public Library program within SOIS. To be eligible, students must have completed at least 18 credits toward their MLIS program, completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if applicable, demonstrate academic merit with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, maintain satisfactory academic progress in the MLIS program, earn at least a B in all core classes, and be registered for a minimum of 3 INFOST credits by May 1. The scholarship provides $500 in financial support to help graduate students pursuing careers in library and information science, specifically those focusing on public library work.
