Diomedes Karvellas Memorial Prize in Classics (Greek History)

The Diomedes Karvellas Memorial Prize in Classics (Greek History) is awarded annually to the student who attains the highest mark in CLASS 280 (History of Ancient Greece). This memorial prize recognizes academic excellence in the study of Ancient Greek history at the University of Alberta. The award is available to full-time, part-time, or convocating students who have completed the course. Recipients are automatically considered based on their completed General Application through the university's scholarship system. The prize was established through endowed funds by Erna H Karvellas in memory of Diomedes Karvellas.
