About this opportunity
Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) is designed to cover any extra costs or expenses students may have while studying arising from their disability, health condition or specific learning difference. This allowance is available to students at Robert Gordon University who meet the conditions set out by their respective funding body. Students do not need to be claiming tuition fees and/or living-costs support in order to claim DSA. The allowance amount is dependent on individual circumstances and is assessed on a case-by-case basis. One application per student is permitted per academic year.
The DSA is administered by different student finance bodies depending on the student's country of residence within the UK, including Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS), Student Finance England, Student Finance Northern Ireland, and Student Finance Wales. The allowance is available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, whether studying full-time or part-time, and across all subject areas including on-campus and online learning modes.
Students interested in applying should first contact the Inclusion Centre at RGU to discuss their individual circumstances and eligibility, then submit their application online through the appropriate Student Finance website for their country of residence.
