Dissertation Research Grant

The Italian Art Society offers a Dissertation Research Grant providing funding of up to $1,000 to support dissertation research on any aspect of Italian art and architecture from prehistory to the present. The grant is designed to fund or subsidize research activities including travel expenses for doctoral candidates. This opportunity is available to students of any nationality who have advanced to candidacy for a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree. Additionally, candidates who have received an IAS award within the previous two years are not eligible to apply.
