About this opportunity
The Dissertator's Award in Public Health is a funding opportunity for continuing dissertator students in Community and Behavioral Health Promotion (CBHP), Environmental Health Sciences (EHS), and Epidemiology (EPI) at the Zilber College of Public Health. The purpose is to help PhD candidates pay for the expenses of completing their dissertation research. Applicants must work with their faculty advisor to develop a research plan and associated budget. The application requires a description of the research project, a detailed budget with specific line items, and should be between 500-600 words. In addition to the narrative and budget, applicants must answer supplemental questions about their PhD progress, preliminary exam completion, dissertation proposal status, expected graduation date, and other funding sources. To be considered for this scholarship, students must complete the entire General Application for all Zilber College of Public Health scholarships.
