About this opportunity
This is an industry-based Higher Degree by Research (HDR) project scholarship at RMIT University in collaboration with Consunet Pty Ltd. The scholarship is supported by the CSIRO Next Generation Graduate Program. The research focuses on distributed cognitive electromagnetic systems, requiring strong skills in programming, simulation, mathematical modelling, machine learning, signal processing, and multi-agent systems. Successful candidates will work on areas such as spectrum sensing, localization, radio environment modelling, distributed intelligence, communication-limited cooperation, and swarm behavior. This opportunity is designed for domestic students only (Australian citizens, permanent residents, holders of permanent humanitarian visas, or New Zealand citizens) to pursue PhD research at the intersection of electromagnetic systems and cognitive computing.
