Diversity Scholarship Award

The NASSH Diversity Award is designed to promote diversity through membership within the North American Society for Sport History. This scholarship is specifically aimed at supporting self-identified members of minority groups who are pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies in sport history. The award provides financial support and conference opportunities to encourage diverse participation in the field of sport history scholarship. Recipients receive $500 USD, one year of NASSH membership, and a Conference registration scholarship for the award year. Award holders are encouraged, but not required to, present at the NASSH annual conference, providing an opportunity for emerging scholars to share their research with the sport history community.
