About this opportunity
The Doctor of Medicine First People's Scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to support the participation and success of First Peoples candidates in the medical degree at Griffith University. The scholarship provides installments of $2,500 payable in Trimester 1 and 2 each year, provided all conditions are met, up to the maximum value of the scholarship or minimum duration of the degree, whichever is the lesser. This scholarship is specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students pursuing the Doctor of Medicine (5099) as a First Peoples candidate through the First Peoples' Health Pathway at Griffith University. Applicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents and provide confirmation of their Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage.
