About this opportunity
This scholarship provides support to students entering the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Sydney. Established in 2023 through generous donations from Professor Emerita Wanda Haschek-Hock, this scholarship aims to promote diversity in veterinary medicine education by supporting underrepresented groups. The scholarship is valued at approximately $4,000 per annum and is tenable for four years, supporting students throughout their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program. Preference is given to students who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, or those from remote or rural primary residential addresses. Recipients must maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 65 each semester to continue receiving the scholarship.
