Don and Norine Lowry Awards for Women of Excellence

The Don and Norine Lowry Awards for Women of Excellence are designed to support women of all ages pursuing education in specialized fields including energy, power, water, business administration, finance, safety, information technology, emergency management, communications, and healthcare. The awards are specifically for residents of the City of Edmonton, Alberta. The program prioritizes women committed to ongoing careers in these fields who demonstrate community involvement, leadership, volunteerism, participation in sports and recreation, education goals related to establishing excellence as a leader, and financial need. Awards can be used at any public university, college, or technical institute operating in Edmonton and may also be used for exchange trips operated through an Edmonton school. Awards are paid directly to the institution of study to be applied to tuition.
