About this opportunity
An award valued at up to $2,000 is awarded annually to full-time graduate students completing their graduate degree in the department of Chemistry in the Faculty of Science on the basis of demonstrated excellence. This fund is made possible by a donation from Hilda Buckingham Irish, sister-in-law to the late Don E. Irish (former chair of the department of Chemistry). The award is available to both Masters and Doctoral level students in the Chemistry program at the University of Waterloo. Students are selected automatically by the Faculty/Department and do not need to apply. The award is presented during the Spring term and is open to both Canadian/Permanent residents and International students with study permits.
