Don Wright Scholarship in Music Education

The Don Wright Scholarship in Music Education is awarded annually to a full-time student with superior academic achievement working towards the Bachelor of Education degree with a Music Major or Minor, or the combined Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Education program. This scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated a special aptitude for vocal and choral music and the teaching of the same, especially in grades 5 to 9 during the changing voice period. The award is funded through endowed funds by Dr Don Wright of Toronto and is administered by the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta.
