About This Opportunity

The Donald C. Burtt Scholarship is offered annually to a continuing undergraduate student in the Geosciences Department at the University of Calgary. Established in recognition of Donald Burtt's contribution to the petroleum industry, this scholarship was created by Donald C. Burtt, D. Stephen Burtt, B.D. Gale, D. Craig Natland and Kenneth B. MacDonald. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, with preference given to students who have declared a major in Geophysics. Recipients must be Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents enrolled in their second, third, or fourth year of undergraduate studies in the Faculty of Science, majoring in Applied Geology, Geoscience, Geology, or Geophysics.
