Donald & Geraldine Beam Award

The Donald & Geraldine Beam Award is an annual scholarship presented to the student in the Master of Taxation program at the University of Waterloo who best demonstrates aptitude and proficiency in the process, methodology, techniques and skills of original research in the TAX 638-Master's Research Paper. This award recognizes excellence in research capabilities within the taxation field at the master's level. The award is automatically conferred by the Faculty/Department based on academic performance and research quality, requiring no separate application from students. It is available to both Canadian/permanent residents and international students enrolled in the Master of Taxation program within the Faculty of Arts, specifically the Accounting program area.
