About This Opportunity
The Donald J. Lipkind Memorial Scholarship is offered annually by Mr. and Mrs. S.H. Lipkind, friends and family, in memory of Donald J. Lipkind. This scholarship supports a continuing undergraduate student entering third or fourth year in the Faculty of Arts, majoring in Philosophy at the University of Calgary. The award recognizes students who demonstrate a combination of scholastic abilities and social skills that have led to above average contribution and dedication to their community. Recipients must be Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents who are Alberta residents, and demonstrate both academic merit and financial need. The scholarship provides up to $3,700 in support to one qualified student each year.
