Donald L. and Clara Alice Seaman Shawver Scholarship

The Donald L. and Clara Alice Seaman Shawver Scholarship is awarded to business majors from Eastern Illinois University who reside in the Central Illinois region. The scholarship gives preference to students from specific counties in Central Illinois (Champaign, Christian, Clark, Clay, Coles, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar, Effingham, Jasper, McLean, Montgomery, Moultrie, Piatt, Shelby, or Vermilion). Financial need is a consideration in the selection process. Scholastic ability is also evaluated and may be determined through a competitive examination administered by the Lumpkin College of Business and Technology for students who wish to compete. The award is announced in the Spring semester and paid in the Fall semester. Recipients must be enrolled at Eastern Illinois University and pursuing a major in business-related fields including Accountancy, Business Administration, Finance, Management, Marketing, and related programs.
