About This Opportunity

The Doris Bell Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students currently enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College who intend to pursue an associate degree or certificate of completion in nursing or any allied health field of study. Recipients must demonstrate financial need according to federal or state guidelines and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA (or have passing high school/GED scores if first-time students). The scholarship supports students enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours or full-time enrollment as defined by their program. The scholarship is renewable for the spring semester if recipients achieve a minimum semester GPA of 2.75 and complete at least 9 credit hours in the fall. This memorial scholarship is provided by the Friends and Family of Doris Bell through the Tarrant County College Foundation to support students pursuing careers in nursing and allied health fields.
