Doris H. Anderson Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship

Awarded to an incoming Morell High School student who is a proven leader within their school and community. This scholarship honors Doris H. Anderson, a pioneering Canadian journalist and women's rights advocate who served as editor of Chatelaine magazine and as Chancellor of the University of Prince Edward Island from 1992 to 1996. Anderson was known for her commitment to equality and inclusion, her leadership on women's rights issues, and her dedication to giving voice to important social issues. The scholarship was created in her memory to support student leaders entering the University of Prince Edward Island, continuing her legacy of leadership and social engagement.
