About This Opportunity
The Doris Katherine Derse Scholarship is awarded annually to bachelor's degree students majoring in biological sciences, conservation & environmental science, freshwater science or geoscience who demonstrate a commitment to urban wildlife. This scholarship supports undergraduate students who are at the junior or senior level and can show their dedication to urban wildlife through various activities including research projects, volunteer experiences, internships, or relevant work experience. Competitive applicants are expected to maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25. The scholarship is provided through the Derse Foundation and administered by the UW-Milwaukee Foundation. Second degree students are not eligible for this award.
