About this opportunity
The Dorothy Blanche Chandler Scholarship supports postgraduate research in rheumatoid arthritis and associated conditions within the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. This scholarship was established in 2003 by a bequest from Bruce Veness Chandler in honour of his mother, Dorothy Blanche Chandler. The scholarship provides financial assistance to outstanding Masters by Research or PhD scholars to conduct research in the area of rheumatoid arthritis and associated conditions. Recipients must apply through the Research Training Program (RTP) application process and be enrolled full-time or part-time with approval. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) stipend rate for the duration of the candidate's research degree, up to 4 years for PhD students and up to 2 years for Masters by Research students, depending on commencement date.
