Dorothy Bratsas Scholarship

The Dorothy Bratsas Scholarship was established by the generosity of the late Dr. Dorothy Bratsas. This scholarship intends to assist female students who attended high school in the Greater New Orleans region who plan to continue their education in college. The scholarship is open to female high school seniors, high school graduates, or current undergraduates who attended high school in Orleans Parish, Metairie, or Kenner. Applicants must be planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university for the entire upcoming academic year and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, or national origin. This scholarship is managed by Scholarship America.
