Dorothy Coen Athlete Scholarship

The Dorothy Coen Athlete Scholarship is designated for Lancaster City Schools (Ohio) to make awards to an outstanding female freshman athlete scholar to participate in summer educational activities. This scholarship recognizes female freshman students who demonstrate excellence both in academics and athletics. Recipients must maintain strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.0, participate on at least two athletic teams during their freshman year, and demonstrate leadership ability and a mature attitude toward school. The scholarship supports students who exhibit dependable athletic performance and the ability to work well with teammates and coaches. The award provides a minimum of $500 to help support the recipient's participation in summer educational activities at an educational institution in the United States.
