About this opportunity
The Dorothy Emilie Shankwitz '63 Scholarship is awarded to select School of Education undergraduate and/or international students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This scholarship supports students enrolled in the Inclusive Early Childhood Education, Birth-Grades 3, and/or Exceptional Education, K-12 programs. Applicants must be full-time students with junior or senior standing (minimum 30 credits completed) and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Strong preference is given to students with demonstrated financial need as determined by FAFSA and those who show commitment and engagement with the special needs community through volunteer work. The scholarship is administered through the UWM Foundation and the College of Community Engagement & Professions.
